My First Mother’s Day

My first Mother’s Day this past weekend was truly a special one. It was a weekend filled with my loved ones and it doesn’t get much better than that.

So thankful to spend time with my wonderful mother, mother in law, and baby daughter. Read on for how we spent the weekend and for a pretty photo overload!

We kicked off the weekend on Saturday with a ladies day I planned for my mom and mother in law. A local tearoom was hosting a ladies Kentucky Derby themed lunch so we dressed with complete with headbands and enjoyed a light and tasty lunch together.

Sunday started with coffee in bed with my lovies. After a morning of lounging we got ready and headed out to a surprise (to me) brunch at one of our favorite local spots! They host brunch with delicious bottomless mimosas but what the moms in our group didn’t know was that they also have a speakeasy! We travelled down a secret elevator and enjoyed a seriously delicious brunch with bananas foster bread pudding, salad with homemade dressings, and an omelet bar. Plus the bottomless mimosas..prickly pear (below) was my favorite…so hot pink!

It was such a special weekend and my first Mother’s Day that I’ll never forget. Hope everyone enjoyed their day and spoiling their loved ones too!
